The No-Cook Wonder
Caprese skewers are proof that the simplest recipes are often the best. This Italian classic requires no cooking and comes together in just 10 minutes, making it perfect for last-minute entertaining or hot summer days when you don't want to turn on the oven.
Quality Ingredients Matter
Since this recipe has so few ingredients, quality really matters. Look for fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), ripe but firm cherry tomatoes, and the freshest basil you can find.

- 8 Sprinkle lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Chef's Note
If you can't find balsamic glaze, you can make your own by reducing balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan until it's thick and syrupy. For added flavor, sprinkle with dried Italian herbs or red pepper flakes.
